About the Artist . . .


Valerie Wilkerson was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in a pastor's home in Tallahassee, Florida where her love for God developed. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida A&M University, Masters of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix, and a specialist degree in Leadership Education from National-Louis University. Valerie married James N. Wilkerson, Jr. and is the proud mother of a son, James III, and a daughter, Lauren.
